MinistriesThe major ministry of our Community is hospitality, with a focus on spiritual growth and renewal. This sense of hospitality is foundational in all the ministries of the All Saints Sisters of the Poor. Feel free to explore the listing of ministries on this page. All Saints Convent (Catonsville, MD) Situated on 88 acres, the Motherhouse is surrounded by the beauty of God's creation, in natural woods and the cultivated garden spots that invite one to pause and pray. The Motherhouse is home to the majority of the Sisters including those in the Novitiate, who are just beginning their Religious Life, and those nearing the end of their journey . St. Anna's House (Philadelphia, PA) St. Anna's is a branch house of the convent in the center of Philadelphia. It is a mission house and as such its primary goals are to continue to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ, to teach the faith, and to administer to the various needs of the people who come in contact with the Sisters and with the house. St. Anna's has two spirituality groups that meet at the house
A Sister assigned to St. Anna's may teach in the local parishes, work in a homeless program with a church in Camden, and travel in the United States and Canada leading quiet days and teaching seminars. In addition, St. Anna's is often able to give relief to the homeless and is able to take two guests at the house who come to Philadelphia for medical and/or religious purposes. The Joseph Richey House (Baltimore, MD)
The Joseph Richey House, a free-standing hospice co-founded in 1987 by
the All Saints Sisters and Mount Calvary Parish, provides a homelike
atmosphere for those with a terminal illness.
It is not a Branch House of the Community, and no Sisters are stationed there, but it is a vital part of our outreach. We visit the patients who are living at JRH and help with raising funds for the on-going support of the hospice-ministry. We are also involved in its direction through participation on the Board of Trustees. In the first nineteen years of its existence, JRH has ministered to some 3200 patients and their families.
The Guest Wing (Catonsville, MD) At the Convent the Guest Wing offers an opportunity for women to share in the structure, worship and silence of the Sisters' life. Go to about the Guest wing and about coming for a visit. St. Gabriel's Retreat House (Catonsville, MD)

More about the events at St. Gabriel's and the Quiet Days at the Convent may be found in the Retreats which is published annually. Holy Cross Hermitage (Catonsville, MD) This is the home of the Convent's resident Chaplain. Those wishing to see him should make arrangements through the Holy Cross Hermitage.. The Card Shop (Catonsville, MD) There is a small shop located at the Convent where Christian greeting cards, bookmarks, and Holy Cards, designed by various Sisters, may be purchased, as well as three books published by the Sisters, which are sold to benefit the Joseph Richey Hospice.
